Artist Studios

About the Studios

The Studios at Radial Arts Center support the stability and growth of artists working in the area.

Radial Arts Center includes artist studios and gallery exhibition spaces. Spaces range from 200–330 square feet in our historical 1,300 sq. ft. facility in the Benson Creative District. Studios can be used for specific projects or moments in an artist’s practice in which the space is necessary for production, studio visits, community, or other short-term needs that help to develop one’s practice. In addition, studio artists receive support from a dedicated team of Radial Arts Center staff and volunteers.

Current Artists

Baylee Bennett

Baylee Bennett is an oil painter living in Omaha, NE. Her work focuses on the intimate and sacred objects of her life as well as the interior spaces she resides in. She is both a studio painter as well as a plein air painter. Baylee graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in studio art and art history in 2023. Her work has been shown in the Radial Arts Center, Benson First Friday, Bemis Center, Creighton University, and the Hot Shops Art Gallery all located in Omaha as well as the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, MO. As well as working as an artist, she works at Joslyn Art Museum as a Teaching Artist.

Nolan Bennett

Nolan Bennett, originally from Kearney, Nebraska, graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with an English degree with a concentration in American Literature, and a minor in Psychology. Nolan enjoys collecting film cameras and typewriters.

Sarah Craw

Sarah Craw is a self-taught, multi-disciplinary artist in Omaha NE. She currently practices abstract expressionism with mixed media, indulging in a state of play and finding ways to repurpose found materials. Craw also practices minimalist illustration using her typewriter, merging word play with negative space. This practice is meant to produce more quiet works that allow the viewer a space to contemplate. Craw states, “I choose to make time and space in my life for art, and I hope I can inspire others in doing so. My practice is a continuous exploration of myself and the world around me.”

Kimberly Glass

Kimberly Glass has maintained a painting practice in Omaha since 2008. She creates in acrylic paint on paper or canvas with little pre-planning, bypassing the constraints of logic and analysis through much of the process and accessing intuition . Many of her themes relate to an identity as a powerfully creative woman, to motherhood, and to universal love and the spiritual nature of life. To her a successful painting says something new to her while being resolved through expressive paint handling and color. Her desire is that her work also expresses a sense of hope while considering the mysteries of life. She has participated in local group shows and her work is in private collections in the Midwest. Most recently Kimberly participated in the 2025 Radial Arts Center Annual Benefit Expo and exhibited a group of her paintings entitled “A Fool for Chroma” at Link Gallery Omaha in 2023.

Casey Hallas

Casey Hallas is a painter, video artist, musician and social theorist from Quincy, IL. He now resides in Omaha. Casey encodes his life story and philosophy into artifacts to share with his community. "Creativity is spirituality, a symbolic practice and an act of peace." After a career as a production artist and project manager creating scenery using printed textiles, Casey produced his first group of painting and prints in Boise, ID between 2016-2019. The current body of exhibited work is part of a group entitled Apocalypse Family which Casey has been filming for a documentary video series named Painting w/ Paint. Casey Hallas is a masters student at UNO in Data Science and President of the UNO Data Science Club.
