Calling all poets, writers, artists, or newbies! Join us at the Radial Arts Center for a Poetry Workshop led by Studio Artist alumnus, Aaron Scobie!

Participants will engage in a thoughtful review of selected poems and will have the opportunity to compose their own ekphrastic or expressive poems using a guided writing prompt. This event offers a welcoming space for creatives to explore their craft, exchange insights, and develop their artistic voice.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER //

Aaron Scobie is a poet and photographer originally from Alabama. They hold an MFA in creative writing from Creighton, MA in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a BA in Literature from Auburn University. They have published poems and stories in a variety of online and printed journals; as well as articles, music reviews, and book reviews locally in Omaha and internationally.
