This inspiring exhibition features a vibrant collection of visual art by students from Your Empowerment Studio (YES!). Through powerful storytelling and creative exploration, these young artists share their perspectives on identity, community, place, and possibility.

At its core, Our View From Here reflects the YES! mission: empowering students by nurturing their talents and building confidence. Each piece represents not just a finished artwork, but a meaningful step in a young artist’s creative journey—shaped by mentorship, growth, and self-expression.

About the Curator
Kimberly Faith Hickman, Owner/Director of YES!, has dedicated over 20 years to youth advocacy and the arts. Inspired at age three after seeing Annie, she has built a career as a producer, director, and educator, with credits spanning Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, and regional theaters. Her work on Broadway includes productions that collectively earned 19 Tony Award nominations, and she has developed arts education programs nationwide.
